The 2023 World Championships Begin in Jyväskylä!

The POSA Pole Sports World Championships kicked off today at Hipposhalli in Jyväskylä. Representing our association on the stage today were the fantastic Ella Anttila and Maria Manner.
Ella placed impressively fourth in the Junior A Women Amateur category with her personal best score of 102.700 and Maria also placed fourth in the Junior B Women Amateur category with her personal best score of 99.400. Congratulations to both athletes for their excellently executed competition performances!
The competitions will continue for the rest of the week, with Iida Sulonen still to compete in the Junior B Women Competitive category. She faces the qualifying competition this Saturday. The best athletes from this will progress to the finals on Sunday. Come and cheer Iida on to the finals and victory!
