About the Organization

Aerial Unlimited is a non profit organization with the purpose of promoting and developing regional opportunities for aerial acrobatics, reducing barriers to participation in these disciplines, and raising societal awareness of the diversity of aerial acrobatic arts. It aims to enhance the recognition and appreciation of these arts through both performance and sports.

The organization is backed by passionate individuals who have been active in these disciplines for several years and have a strong desire to develop and maintain high-quality opportunities for young and child participants in the Turku region.

For a long time, we have felt that these fantastic disciplines and their practitioners deserve more visibility. We believe that increasing the number of practitioners and quality coaching are the basis for developing these arts, starting with the youngest participants.

Ensuring the continuation of sports and activities for young and child participants, especially in pole dance and other aerial acrobatics, is of great concern to the founding members. One of the young founding members has a personal background of significantly increased self-esteem and a sense of community through engaging in these disciplines. Physical activity offers children and young people the opportunity to connect with a community and has a significant impact on both physical and psychosocial well-being.

Through personal experience, we can affirm that aerial acrobatic disciplines combine a range of physical capacities while nurturing emotional expression, making them truly versatile.

In addition to children and young people's classes, our goal is to offer open events in the form of workshops, increase the visibility of these disciplines at various events, and in the Turku area. There is also an active and internationally successful competition team under the organization's @teamaerialunlimited.
