My journey into the world of pole dancing and aerial acrobatics began approximately 8.5 years ago through my daughter. There were no classes available for her age group at the time, so, as a mother, I was determined to support her, and we both ended up in the same classes, allowing her to participate with the adults.

I quickly fell in love with these activities, and I also became involved in floor acrobatics and partner acrobatics. Through these sports, I've had the pleasure of pushing my own limits, enjoying the company of fellow enthusiasts and instructors.

Recently, my own practice has taken a back seat as my free time has been filled with launching our association, preparing our training space, managing my daughter's activities, coaching, and other projects. I've become familiar with sports federation regulations, anti-doping rules, and the essentials of judging, as I completed my training to become a POSA judge in 2023. I have also completed a junior instructor training course and am a certified junior instructor with the Finnish Pole Dance Association.

At Aerial Unlimited, I'm responsible for organizing our operations, collaborations, and client communications. Who knows, maybe you'll even see me teaching classes at some point. The future will reveal all the exciting things we have in store for you ❣️

I've been practicing aerial acrobatics and pole dancing for approximately 8.5 years. In addition, I've explored dance and floor acrobatics.

What captivates me in pole dancing and aerial acrobatics is the expressive movement and the versatile use of the body, as well as the freedom of expression. When I'm choreographing or performing, I feel free to express myself in ways that I, as an introverted person, wouldn't be able to otherwise. I've been competing in these disciplines since 2019. Last year, I brought home two gold medals, one silver medal, the national record score for my age group, and, of course, a wealth of valuable experience and wonderful friends 💖

When I'm choreographing or performing, I feel free to express myself in ways that I, as an introverted person, wouldn't be able to otherwise.

I started teaching as an assistant instructor in these disciplines in 2021, and in 2022, I began leading my own pole dance groups. I owe my diverse teaching experience, considering my age, to the adults who recognized my potential and my desire to share my passion for these disciplines with other students. Personally, this is extremely important to me because I've gained a lot of self-confidence and expressive skills through these activities, and I find it crucial to offer these opportunities to other children and young people who are especially seeking their own identity.

I strive for an open-minded attitude. Tolerance and openness are important to me, as they are of utmost importance in creating an open, inspiring, and safe atmosphere in the groups. With my actions, I aim to encourage everyone to trust themselves and embrace diversity as a source of strength.

At Aerial Unlimited, I teach children and youth groups. I also participate in competition coaching and offer choreography and individual coaching. Teaching adult classes and workshops is not out of the question, so don't hesitate to suggest ideas ❣️ I have also completed a junior instructor training course and am a certified junior instructor with the Finnish Pole Dance Association.

I have a long history with pole dancing – almost 12 years! I fell in love with the sport's versatility, challenge, and creativity during my very first pole dancing class. My journey as an instructor began in 2015 in Tornio, and since then, I have been teaching adults, young people, and children. I have also completed a junior instructor training course and am a certified junior instructor with the Finnish Pole Dance Association.

As an instructor, I am encouraging and enthusiastic, always considering the individual needs of each student. Every student is unique, and it is essential for me to find the ways that will help you reach your goals and surpass your limits. In my classes, everyone is welcome to be themselves ❤️

Over the years, this sport has given me an immense amount of joy and growth, both as a student and a coach. As an instructor, I want to offer others the opportunity to challenge themselves in this fantastic sport, learn new things, discover the joy of movement, and, of course, find the wonderful pole dancing community!

At Aerial Unlimited, I teach advanced junior pole dance classes and serve as the head coach for the competitive training group. I also create competition choreographies for students of all ages. Additionally, I organize monthly workshops with various themed classes for adults. Stay tuned 😎

Iiro

I started practicing pole dancing and aerial acrobatics around 6 years ago. Prior to that, I had already become acquainted with these disciplines through my daughter. My motivation at that time was to gain a better understanding of the disciplines and movement patterns through personal experience, so that I could better assist my daughter in her home workouts.

The disciplines quickly captivated me, and soon, in addition to my own fitness and personal development, my motivation for attending classes was the versatility, challenge, and enjoyment of these disciplines. I have a previous background in sports, including soccer and orienteering from my youth. In addition, my family and I have been practicing floor and partner acrobatics together for about 8 years.

I want to encourage everyone who is considering practicing these disciplines to try something new fearlessly. There is no mold you have to fit into to pursue these disciplines. Skills develop with practice, and the most important thing is your attitude.

The disciplines offered by the association have been a significant part of my life for several years, and I have gained coaching and teaching experience through coaching my own daughter and assisting and substituting in group classes. Additionally, I have been trained as a judge by both IPSF and POSA. I have also completed a junior instructor training course and am a certified junior instructor with the Finnish Pole Dance Association.

As an instructor and coach, I am positive and calm. I strive to recognize each individual's unique qualities, and, above all, I hope that everyone enjoys their time in the classes, even though learning something new can sometimes be challenging.

My journey into the world of circus began as a child at Sorin Sirkus. I moved to Turku and, alongside my studies, started working as a circus instructor. I fell in love with instructing because it allowed me to share my own passion for circus arts, and soon what began as a hobby turned into a career. Over the years, I have instructed in various spaces and conditions, with many different groups, which has developed me as an instructor. I always find myself learning something new.

In addition to gaining a vast amount of expertise through my long experience as a hobbyist and instructor, I am also a qualified theater expression instructor from Turku University of Applied Sciences. 🤸🏼‍♀️

As an instructor, I am cheerful and encouraging, striving to share my love for the discipline and continuous development. In my classes, I aim to offer everyone an appropriate level of challenge, a supportive training environment, and a safe space to practice, make mistakes, and learn.
